【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsforpolyethylene(PE)pipeandfittingsfornonpressureroofdrainsystems.Thisspecificationcoverspipeandfittingsintendedfornormalresidentialandcommercialusesandisnotintendedforuseinunusualcorrosiveconditions.Note1Beforeinstallingpipeforwastedisposaluse,theapprovalofthecognizantbuildingcodeauthorityshallbeobtainedasconditionsnotfoundinnormaluseortemperaturesapproaching140?F(60?C)maybeencountered.Pipeisproducedindimensionsbasedonoutsidediametersof32mm(1.250in.)andlargerinaccordancewithSpecificationF714.Theinterchangeabilityofpipeandfittingsmadebydifferentmanufacturersisnotaddressedinthisspecification.Transitionfittingsforjoiningpipeandfittingsofdifferentmanufacturersisprovidedforinthisspecification.Pipeandfittingsarejoinedbytheheat-fusionmethod,bytheelectrofusionmethod,orbyusingmechanicaljoints(excludinginsertfittings)recommendedbythemanufacturer.Inrefereedecisions,theSIunitsshallbeusedformetric-sizedpipeandinch-poundunitsforpipesizedintheIPSsystem(ANSIB36.10).Inallcases,thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethod,Section,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
